The MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI PZ is a Back-Connect ATX motherboard with an AMD X870E chipset, designed for gaming PCs and high-performance configurations. Compatible with AMD Ryzen™ 9000, 8000 and 7000 processors for the AM5 socket, it combines DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0, Gen5 M.2 storage, Wi-Fi 7 and 5G LAN. Its rear-mounted connections also enable a cleaner build and simplify cable management.

The rear USB 40 Gbps Type-C ports and the M.2_2 slot share PCIe 5.0 x4 bandwidth. With a device installed in M.2_2, both operate at PCIe 5.0 x2. M.2_2 can be configured as PCIe 5.0 x4 in the BIOS, in which case the USB 40 Gbps Type-C ports are disabled. The USB4® host controller supports up to PCIe 4.0 x4.
