Features of the EW7066 Docking Station for M.2 NVMe / SATA SSDs
The EW7066 Docking Station is a versatile solution for users who need to connect and manage M.2 SSDs, both NVMe and SATA, externally. Its design makes it easy and quick to perform backups, migrations or data transfers without having to install the drive internally.
Dual NVMe and SATA compatibility
This dock supports **both protocols**, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of SSD M.2:

M-Key **(NVMe / PCIe)**
B+M (SATA) key
Compatible sizes: **2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110** :contentReference[oaicite:0]{inde x=0}

Connectivity and performance
The EW7066 connects via **USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-C)**, offering transfer speeds of up to **10 Gbps**. This makes it ideal for moving large volumes of data quickly and reliably. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

Support for the **UASP** (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) protocol to reduce latency and optimise performance :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
**TRIM** support, ensuring that erase/optimisation operations work correctly on SSDs :contentReference[oaicite:3]{index=3}
Power supply: 5 V via the USB port itself (no additional adapter required) :contentReference[oaicite:4]{inde x=4}

Practical features and operational benefits
Beyond simply providing a connection, this dock offers features that make it practical and reliable for everyday use:
