APPLE 6.1-inch unlocked 5G smartphone IPHONE-12 64GB DSP0000002572VAR

Beyond speed

5G technology. A14 Bionic chip, the fastest in a smartphone. Display
edge-to-edge OLED. Ceramic Shield, four times more resistant to
drops. Night mode on every camera. Yes, the iPhone 12 has it
.

A hard blow for glass

Ceramic Shield, tougher than any smartphone glass

The iPhone already had the toughest glass in a smartphone, but with the iPhone
12 Pro, Apple wanted to go much further. To achieve this, we had to leave
glass behind and create a new material. And that’s exactly what
we did.

Nanoceramic crystals

It’s called Ceramic Shield, and it’s made by embedding crystals in the glass
of nanoceramic, which are harder than most metals. It sounds simple,
but it’s actually an incredibly complicated process because
ceramic is opaque. The solution was to control the type of crystals and their degree
of crystallinity until we found a formula that strengthened the hardness of the
ceramic while maintaining transparency.
That’s how Ceramic Shield became the perfect invisible
armor for the screen. It’s a real breakthrough. And it’s light-years ahead of any
smartphone glass.

Dual ion-exchange process

Besides being extraordinarily tough, we also wanted this iPhone
to be scratch-resistant. Now the dual ion-exchange process
that Apple uses on the back glass is also applied to the
screen, to protect it from everyday wear, scratches and impacts.

Four times more drop resistant

The durability of the front isn’t down to Ceramic Shield alone. The
screen is now flush with the edge of the phone, making it even
better protected. The result of all this innovation is a phone that’s four
times more drop resistant. We’ve never made such a big leap in this
respect from one year to the next.

speed 5G

OMGGGGG

With 5G, iPhone doesn’t just run, it flies. You’ll notice it when downloading movies
away from home, streaming videos in the highest quality or using FaceTime HD
over cellular data. All with much lower latency. You can do all that and
whatever you want in many more places because iPhone 12 has the widest
coverage in the world.

A14 Bionic

The fastest in a smartphone

A14 Bionic is the industry’s first five-nanometer chip, with
advanced components literally the size of atoms. It has 40%
more transistors, which means greater speed, efficiency and
battery life. And the new ISP lets you record in Dolby Vision, something
professional video cameras can’t do, let alone other
smartphones.

Super Retina XDR display

OLED. What a work of art

Infinitely greater contrast. Astonishing color accuracy.
A giant leap in pixel density. You’ve never seen anything
like it. With OLED technology, whites are brighter, blacks are
more intense and resolution is incredibly high across the board. It’s the best display on
The iPhone that exists, the result of taking innovation to the limit.

1,200 nits of HDR brightness. 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio

It’s all about pixels here. On LCD screens, they’re all backlit at the
same time, but on OLED screens, each pixel emits its own light. That’s why they can
turn off completely to deliver true blacks or reach up to
1,200 nits to make HDR content shine. That’s how you get a
2,000,000:1 contrast ratio. The difference is almost staggering.

Brighter whites and deeper blacks

Documents and emails look incredibly sharp. And the
definition is spectacular in all your photos and videos, even those from
years ago. Not to mention intergalactic battles and explosions, whose
level of detail, brightness and depth will leave you speechless.

Dual-camera system

Come over to the dark side

Night mode now works with the Wide and Ultra Wide cameras too
angle.
But that’s not all. Apple has also improved it so you can take
amazing photos even in dim light. The new Wide camera lets in
27% more light, giving you greater detail and unprecedented color at
any time, whether you’re an early bird or a night owl.

Make every night

picture-perfect

Night mode knows when ambient light is low and turns on
automatically, keeping things clear and bringing out colors that
shine on their own. Just tap the shutter.

Deep Fusion kicks in in low light or dimly lit settings, and
analyzes multiple exposures to create the most detailed photo
possible. Look at the texture of the wood, fabric, and glass. And to top it off,
the Ultra Wide camera gives you breathtaking perspectives.

Automatic magic

HDR

Smart HDR 3 balances the elements in the photo: here, for example,
it brings out the details of the subject and the trees, while keeping the color
of the sky vibrant, even when the sun is high. Thanks to machine learning,
Smart HDR 3 recognizes not just faces, but also
scenes, and adjusts sharpness, color, and white balance wherever
needed. Even in bright daylight, Smart HDR 3 reproduces
textures, skin tones, color saturation, and
even the tiniest detail in the image.

Portrait mode

Nobody sees you in a better light

Portrait mode adds an artistic touch to your photos by blurring the background to
make the subject stand out. The result is spectacular.

VIDEO

Lights out. Camera. Action

How can you get the best video quality on a smartphone? Easy: with
27% higher resolution in low light. That means
you can record videos without worrying about the sun going down. And that's not all: the
Night mode also works with time-lapse. Set your iPhone down somewhere
and let the lights work their magic.

A film studio in your pocket

Now you can record a 4K HDR video with Dolby Vision, edit it in Photos
or iMovie and send it to your TV with AirPlay to watch it in stunning detail.
It's a cinematic experience from start to finish, and it's only available
on iPhone. You'll see how useful it is when your dog does those adorable tricks.

Selfies with Night mode

Nothing can outshine you

The best time to take selfies? After sunset, of
course.
Now the front camera has Night mode, Deep Fusion, Smart HDR 3,
Dolby Vision recording and much more. You’ll look spectacular even in the
dark.

iOS 14

Straight to the good stuff

iOS 14 is packed with shortcuts that help you do everything you want
exactly when you want. iOS 14 transforms your iPhone and makes your life
much easier. With the new features, you’ll have exactly what you
need at just the right moment. And the apps you use often are
now smarter, more personal and more secure.

Ideas that leave a smaller footprint

Emissions savings equivalent to taking 450,000 cars
off the road each year.

Across the iPhone lineup, Apple has chosen to include a USB-C to
Lightning cable for fast charging, which most people need, instead of the power adapter and EarPods, which often go unused.
instead of the power adapter and EarPods, which often go unused.
In this way, packaging and the total number of shipments are reduced by fitting
more boxes in each batch.
In addition, we help our manufacturing partners switch to
renewable energy.
All these efforts allow us to avoid emitting two million
tonnes of CO per year.
