Four operating modes
This switch has four operating modes selectable via a mode button, allowing the network behavior to be adapted to the type of installation. These modes help prioritize traffic, extend transmission distances or isolate devices to improve network stability.

Standard Mode: all ports can communicate with each other as on a common unmanaged PoE switch
Priority Mode: ports 1 to 8 have high priority to reduce packet loss and congestion
Extend Mode: the transmission distance of ports 9 to 16 can reach up to 250 meters while maintaining communication between all ports
VLAN Mode: ports 1 to 16 are isolated from each other but can communicate with ports 17, 18, SFP1 and SFP2

VLAN mode to isolate traffic and prevent conflicts
VLAN mode is especially useful in installations with many IP cameras or connected devices, as it allows the PoE ports to be isolated from each other while maintaining communication with the uplinks. This function helps reduce broadcast storms and minimize potential DHCP conflicts within the network.
