4 operating modes for different scenarios
The IP-COM G1126P-24-410W includes four operating modes that allow the switch behaviour to be adapted to the installation requirements. These modes facilitate the configuration of uplinks, traffic prioritisation, extended cabling distance and port isolation to improve network stability.

Standard Mode: the switch’s default mode. It operates as an unmanaged switch, and all ports can communicate with one another
Priority Mode: ports 23, 24, SFP1 and SFP2 operate as uplink ports, while ports 1 to 8 act as high-priority ports
Extend Mode: the data rate of ports 17 to 22 is reduced to 10 Mbps, and the maximum transmission distance can reach 250 metres
VLAN Mode: ports 1 to 22 can communicate with ports 23, 24, SFP1 and SFP2, but not with one another

VLAN mode to reduce broadcast storms
VLAN mode allows access ports to be isolated to improve network stability. When enabled, ports 1 to 22 are isolated from one another but can still communicate with the uplink ports. This feature helps reduce broadcast storms and isolate DHCP broadcasts in installations with many connected devices.
