What is this product used for?

The TL-SG1016D Gigabit Ethernet Switch offers you a high-performance upgrade at
low cost, easy to use, seamless and standard, to upgrade the
old network to a 1000Mbps network. All 16 ports support auto MDI /
MDIX, so there is no need to worry about the cable type; just
plug it in and you’re ready to go. In addition, with its innovative
energy-efficient technology, the TL-SG1016D can save up to 15% of
its power consumption, and since about 80% of the packaging material can be
recycled, it is an eco-friendly solution for your business network.

This next-generation TL-SG1016D Gigabit switch features the latest
innovative energy-efficient technologies that can greatly expand its network
capacity with much less power. It adjusts
automatically adjusts power consumption according to the link status
to limit your network’s carbon footprint. It also complies with the EU RoHS
directive, which prohibits the use of certain hazardous materials. In addition, 80%
of the packaging material can be recycled.
TOP PERFORMANCE

All 16 of its ports are Gigabit RJ-45 ports, which can provide
high-speed file transfers and are also compatible with
10 Mbps and 100 Mbps Ethernet devices. With its non-blocking architecture, the TL-
SG1016D forwards and filters packets at full wire speed for
maximum performance. With 10 KB Jumbo Frames, the performance of
large file transfers has been significantly improved.
In addition, IEEE 802.3x flow control for Full Duplex mode and
backpressure for Half Duplex mode reduce traffic congestion and
make the TL-SG1016D completely reliable. It is a perfect choice

MDI/MDIX eliminates the need for crossover cables. Auto-negotiation on

1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for optimal compatibility and
performance.
