TP-LINK Multimode fiber-optic to Ethernet media converter 10/100MBPS SC 2KM MC100CM

The MC100CM is a media converter designed
to convert 100BASE-FX fiber to 100BASE-TX copper media or
vice versa. Designed to IEEE 802.3u 10/100Base-TX and
100Base-FX standards, the MC100CM is designed for use with multi-mode fiber
and uses the SC-type connector. The MC100CM is compatible with
long-wave laser specification (LX) at a speed of
fast cable transmission. It operates at 1310 nm for transmission and
reception.

Other features of this module include the ability to be
used as a standalone device (no chassis required) or with
the TP-LINK 19 system chassis, Auto MDI / MDI-X for the TX port,
automatic duplex mode negotiation on the TX port, and status LEDs
on the front panel. The MC100CM transmits over extended distances
using multimode fiber up to 2
kilometers.
