Characteristic
Fast and reliable networking: The D-Link GO-SW-8G 8-port Gigabit Easy desktop switch creates a fast network for your office, as its Gigabit Ethernet ports provide high-speed wired connections for up to eight PCs or other devices. The GO-SW-8G also features QoS, which prioritizes network traffic so that time-sensitive data is delivered efficiently, even during bursts of high data traffic. Finally, plug-and-play compatibility makes setup a breeze.
Save energy: The 8-port Easy Gigabit desktop switch helps you save energy automatically in several ways. The switch supports IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), which reduces power consumption during periods of low data activity, and will put unused ports into sleep mode, saving a substantial amount of energy. It also adjusts the amount of power supplied to a port according to the length of the connected Ethernet cable.
Environmentally friendly: The 8-port Easy Gigabit desktop switch was designed with the environment in mind and complies with Energy Star Level VI, as well as the strict CEC and MEPS regulations requiring the use of energy-efficient adapters. The switch is also built to meet RoHS standards to minimize the use of hazardous materials and uses recyclable packaging that helps reduce waste, complying with the WEEE directive.
