The Venta Hygiene Product 6001000 serves two functions. It changes the water hardness so that limescale deposits cannot cause scaling. Sediment can be removed every 10–14 days simply by rinsing. It also supports the evaporation process by preventing water from separating from the plastic, thereby ensuring that the plate stacks are completely wetted. The ingredients in the Venta Hygiene Product do not evaporate; they remain in the device until they are poured out during cleaning. This should be done approximately every 10–14 days. Only fresh water needs to be added daily; this reactivates the ingredients in the Venta Hygiene Product. Adding a dose of the Venta Hygiene Product to fresh water after each cleaning ensures that the air washer works correctly. One 500 ml bottle is sufficient for a five-month winter season.
