The official Raspberry Pi 5 case is an evolution of the Raspberry Pi 4 case, with a number of improvements and thermal features to suit the footprint and maximum power consumption of the Raspberry Pi 5. The case features the familiar easy-to-assemble snap-fit design and now includes an internal PWM fan for the dedicated fan connector on the Raspberry Pi 5. Ventilation openings on the bottom, as well as a narrow gap beneath the lid, also ensure unobstructed airflow. This combination of active and passive thermal measures ensures that your board stays cool even during the most demanding projects. The new power button on the Raspberry Pi 5 can be accessed using a transparent 2-in-1 button and activity LED button. An access area has been added for replacing the micro SD card, while soft feet ensure that your projects stay on your desk and the surface is not damaged. The cases can be stacked if you add your own spacers/screws.
