The additives it contains ensure lower surface tension of the water, which significantly reduces the formation of foam and air bubbles. Alphacool Tec Protect 2 protects the circuit from the formation of bacteria and algae and is an ideal lubricant for all water-cooling pumps. Tap water contains many substances that do not belong in a water circuit: limescale, bacteria, viruses, fungal spores and chlorine. Chlorine is an integral part of tap water in many countries, as it is deliberately added. All these substances can contaminate the coolant, which can lead to fungal growth and heavy deposits in the cooling circuit. The fine cooling channels of CPU / GPU coolers, as well as the radiator fins, are affected very quickly by such deposits.
