The Alphacool HardTube Bending Kit Basic includes all the tools for cutting, deburring and bending PETG tubing. The set is suitable for hard tubes with an inner diameter of 10 mm and 13 mm. Alphacool’s classic deburring tool allows HardTubes to be deburred inside and out. External deburring is extremely important to ensure that the HardTubes fit perfectly and that no O-ring is damaged. Internal deburring is only used to remove cutting residue. For clean deburring, the tool has three steel blades with sharp edges. The deburring tool fits comfortably in the hand thanks to its large, rounded shape. The Ice Tools modding cutter works like scissors and is ideal for easily cutting PETG HardTubes. However, acrylic HardTubes cannot be cut because they are too hard and would splinter when cut. Cables and other soft components can also be cut with it. You can use the integrated protractor to cut at an angle. A silicone insert is essential for bending hard tubes. The silicone insert prevents the tubing from collapsing at bends. The silicone insert is moistened before being inserted into the tubing so that it slides more easily. Simple angles can be bent easily with the small, practical bending tool. The tubing is pushed into the bending tool, heated with a heat gun and simply bent. All you need in addition are the HardTubes themselves and a hot-air gun that can also generate low temperatures. A water-cooling system with HardTubes can be implemented easily.
