additional signal.
The cable is designed to support the DisplayPort 1.4 standard, which offers high bandwidth and supports resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. DisplayPort 1.4 AOC also supports high dynamic range
(HDR) and Display Stream Compression (DSC), allowing even higher resolutions and refresh rates.
The active component of the cable is a microchip integrated into the connector that converts electrical signals into optical signals, which are then transmitted through the optical fibre. The cable is also immune to
electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio-frequency interference (RFI), making it ideal for use in environments with high levels of electromagnetic interference.
