The Mackie CR8BT is a compact pair of 8-inch active studio monitors with Bluetooth connectivity, suitable for music production, content creation, gaming and everyday music listening. The bi-amplified Class A/B power amplifier delivers a total of 140 watts RMS and powers an 8-inch fabric woofer and a silk-dome tweeter with a protective grille. The built-in tone control allows flexible adjustment of playback, incrementally adding more bass and treble from a neutral tuning. The position switch can be used to switch between desktop and bookshelf modes, allowing the tuning to be optimised for both near-field listening at a desk and listening from a greater distance. TRS, RCA and 3.5 mm jack inputs are available for connecting audio interfaces, mixers, turntables and other playback devices. A front headphone output also allows monitoring through headphones and mutes the speaker output. Measuring 376 × 251 × 345 mm per speaker and weighing 16 kg in total, the speaker system remains compact and space-saving.
