After installing the DJI Mimo app on your Apple Watch, the watch becomes a smart remote control for Osmo Mobile 6. You can not only view the camera feed remotely from the watch, but also adjust the gimbal angle, switch between portrait and landscape modes, and take photos or videos. This overcomes the limitations of handheld photography at close range and gives you greater freedom in framing and image composition. Osmo Mobile 6 can keep tracking the subject even if it is temporarily obscured. Switch between the four gimbal modes using the new integrated status panel to suit all your filming needs or add creative details. In Follow mode, the camera view follows the gimbal’s pan and tilt movements and remains stable while recording. This mode is great for shooting upwards, downwards and diagonally. In Lock mode, the camera view follows only the gimbal’s pan movements and remains stable during tilts and circling movements, making it ideal for shooting horizontally or moving around a subject. In FPV mode, all three gimbal axes follow the movement of the main body, making it ideal for dynamic shots of stationary subjects such as monuments, buildings or statues. In SpinShot mode, push the joystick left or right to control the rotation of the camera view and create dynamic images, perfect for push-ins, pull-outs and pronounced movements. With the new side wheel on Osmo Mobile 6, zoom and focus can be controlled effortlessly and smoothly, the focal length can be adjusted for flexible composition, and zooming is impeccably smooth.
