The Gigaset DESK 200 combines the most important telephony functions with an especially slim and compact design. It is therefore suitable as a space-saving desk phone or,
alternatively, it can be mounted on the wall quickly and easily. The Gigaset DESK 200 can be connected to the landline network or used as part of an internal telephone network at home or in the office.
Power supplied via the telephone line
The Gigaset DESK 200 does not require a separate power supply; power is supplied directly via the telephone line. This makes setup particularly
simple: connect the Gigaset DESK 200 to the telephone socket (public network, private branch exchange or gateway) and the phone is ready to use.
Visual and audible call signalling
The ringtone and volume of the Gigaset DESK 200 can be adjusted easily. Three different ringtones are available, each with three volume levels. In addition, the
visual call signalling via the handset LED helps ensure that no call is missed, even in particularly noisy environments. If you want some peace and quiet, you can also
switch off the ringtone. In that case, incoming calls are indicated visually only.
Quick dialling
Up to ten phone numbers can be stored as speed-dial numbers, allowing you to quickly reach the people you speak to frequently. The speed-dial numbers
are written on the enclosed paper insert and are therefore always close at hand. The convenient redial function lets you immediately call the last number again at the touch of a button. Need
to speak to someone in the room without the person on the other end of the line hearing you? Put the call on hold and press the mute key. You will then no longer be heard over the
phone. Another important feature for anyone with hearing difficulties: the Gigaset DESK 200 is hearing-aid compatible.
Dialling
The DESK 200 is suitable for connection to both the landline network and telephone systems. It supports the two standard dialling methods, offering maximum flexibility for
analogue telephone connection.
