The Digitus MicroScanner2 can be used to test the mechanical properties of copper cables, detect faults and locate them. It is a universal test device for copper cabling. The MicroScanner2 has a wide range of applications in network cabling based on multipair cables (UTP, FTP, SSTP - RJ45 connector and RJ12/11 connector), coaxial cables (75 Ω, 50 Ω, 93 Ω - F connector) and individual wire pairs. It enables quick verification of connection integrity, fault identification and location, and measurement of the length of individual cable sections. Using a sound probe or remotely controlled line identifiers, it enables quick location of individual connections and wire pairs, as well as error-free identification by maintenance personnel of the correct cable termination on the patch panel. In addition to analysing the physical layer of the cabling, it also enables Ethernet signal detection. The MicroScanner2 is an excellent tool for both cable installers and maintenance personnel responsible for maintaining consistent network structures.
