The Fanatec ClubSport DD delivers 12 Nm of constant torque with incredible responsiveness and dynamism. This suddenly makes your favourite racing simulation even more realistic. Not all direct-drive systems are created equal. Decades of experience with force feedback technology contribute to the many design and electronic improvements of the ClubSport DD. The result is industry-leading performance in its class. By dividing the rotor into staggered segments, cogging torque is automatically reduced. Combined with patented FluxBarrier technology, which provides greater efficiency and smoothness, you can feel crisp force feedback information in any driving situation. The ClubSport DD meets strict cooling performance specifications and is the most thermally stable wheelbase in its class. This means you can be sure that torque and force feedback will always remain consistent, no matter how long you drive. The speed of the ClubSport DD servo motor allows us to fine-tune it more precisely than any previous Fanatec wheelbase. This means the steering wheel can feel very lively and convey even the smallest details, while remaining stable and not oscillating unintentionally. The aluminium shaft inside the motor is the strongest we have ever built. The position of the slip ring electronics allows for a greater wall thickness in the component. The bearing cup is also made entirely of aluminium for strong radial loading, precise rotation and better protection against EMI and ESD. The ClubSport DD was designed from the ground up with QR2 in mind. The QR electronics are now fully integrated into the shaft, making it much stronger thanks to the flange connection.
